Today, you can follow Brake-Out in Ghent, Leuven, Antwerp and Bruges. We are also planning on expanding to Hasselt and Brussels. Discover our course locations in all of Flanders. And sign up.

Brake-Out Antwerp

You will find our young adults in Mundo-A, a creative office and meeting centre in the virbant Antwerp. Close to the Central Station.

Brake-Out Ghent

The groups of the first and second year are located near the Ghent Sint-Pieters railway station. The third year has its base at the Hopper, near Ghent Dampoort railway station.

Brake-Out Leuven

Starting from next year, we will be located in the Maakleerplek, a place where companies, schools, artists and residents from Leuven learn, create and work together.

Brake-Out Bruges

We reunite in the MaM, a creative space for thinkers and doers, on the campus of Howest Campus Station Bruges.

In the pipeline: Brussels and Hasselt

We would like to launch Brake-Out in Brussels and Hasselt. If you are interested, then be sure to ask for an introductory interview. If the demand is sufficient, we can start a new group in these places.

The MaM in Bruges is an ideal place to meet creative people, associations and schools. An added bonus: during Brake-Out, we can use the equipment in the makerspace.

Close to public transport

Our course locations are always located close to the railway station, in order for you to get there easily by bus or train. Many participants learn to take public transport independently through Brake-Out.
We reunite twice a week. One day, we stay at the course location. The other day, we leave the course location to do activities on the move. We usually use public transport for this.
In the third year, we can sometimes be found at another location. Because being a part of society also entails trying to find your way everywhere.

Locations in the community

We choose locations where other companies or organisations are present as much as possibile. Where visiters come and go and it is easy to participate in local initiatives. This increases the chance of the Brake-Outers taking on an active role at one of these organisations. Or take part in activities in the building.
Brake-Out Bruges is located in the Mind- and Makerspace (MaM), Antwerp at Mundo-A and Ghent at the Hopper. STarting from next year, Brake-Out Leuven will be located in the Maakleerplek, a place where companies, schools, artists and residents learn, create and work together.
The presence of the young adults also has an inspiring effect on the passers-by at the locations. The can witness the talents of the Brake-Outers in action.

The next group trajectories will start in September 2021. During an introductory interview, we take the time to listen to the motivation of you – and your supporters – to participate in Brake-Out.
